Hi, I’m Leah!

I believe that art is not a luxury, it can (and should!) be a part of your daily life.

Whether it’s through resin jewelry dishes, one-of-a-kind furniture makeovers, or teaching others how to breathe new life into old furniture; I try to help all my clients and customers find new and exciting ways to add color into their homes.

One of my core brand values is quality. Furniture should be made to last, which is why I am always on the hunt for older pieces that have stood the test of time because they were made by skilled craftsmen. Fine furniture reminds me of my childhood. My parents and grandparents bought and impeccably restored antiques for as long as I can remember.

When I bought my own house I went to the local chain store and purchased the home furnishings I needed. Not many years later I was disposing of that furniture because it was falling apart. It was then that I began to understand the handcrafted quality of antique and high-end furniture brands. My mission is to bring quality vintage furniture back into your home with an unexpected style that will complete your space.

I love everything about the furniture design process; from finding the right piece to understanding color theory to blending paint and working with resin to staging and decorating. It’s seriously amazing how we can take one old piece of furniture and breathe new life into it with just a few supplies!

My original furniture pieces range from clean and classic farmhouse decor to bright and beautiful boho and even to sweet nursery pieces for the new baby in your life. (Click here to see what’s available now!)

My goal is to show others that new isn’t always better; anyone can transform their furniture with a little paint and a lot of patience. Because of this, I always offer online painting demonstrations and I recently launched my membership group, Confidently Creative, to teach new furniture artists advanced techniques and provide them with individualized feedback.

I’ve been featured in Country Sampler Farmhouse and Flea Market Decor magazine. I’m also regularly featured in Dixie Belle Paint’s annual calendars!

When I’m not teaching or painting, I’m spending time with my family at our home in Griffith, Indiana or hiking in Dunes National Park!
