This dresser is the HEAVIEST dresser I’ve ever painted! I think it weighs 300lbs. Luckily, I have a very strong son who can move pieces like this . He’s never allowed to move out. EVER!

Do you remember the elephant dresser I painted a couple weeks ago? I’ll put the photo below for you! Well, the wonderful woman who bought it asked if I had a larger dresser to go with it. I offered to paint this beast to match and I’m so glad I did!

I used these products and colors!

Coffee Bean

    Burlap

Sea Spray Texture

This kind of look comes from multiple layers. I pretty much just add layers of paint and colors until my heart is happy!! The Sea Spray and mud are used to create a texture to “Catch”the colors on. I used a wash of paint, vinegar, and water several different times. You can also see in the right corner I faded in the Tropical Leaves transfer!!

Then at the end my flat round “Best Dang Wax” brush helped me to create the shading that pulled this look together. I sealed the body with Clear Coat in Satin and then the top with Gator Hide! After she was sealed I applied the Gold Gilding wax for the finishing touch!

My favorite products I used for this project are the “Best Dang Wax” brush and the Sea Spray! Those 2 things really made this look!!
